| Started in 1969 with our first carwash, a rollover later converted into a tunnel June Essenburg founded the Quality Car Wash company in Holland Michigan. Today currently we own and operate 4 locations in the West Michigan area. Our success we contribute much to the product. Clean, Shiny, Dry cars to the highest standard. You can ask anyone in the region where the best car wash is and they will tell you ours because of the attention to quality of the car. This is also recognized by a study the International car wash association produced that also states customers number one most important thing when getting a car wash is the quality of the wash. We do this through the highest quality equipment, and detergents to wash the car combined with great customer service, and the other aspects of the wash process. We have been able to achieve over 600,000 cars in a single year between 3 of our locations all within a city of only 35,000 people. Our three locations lie within a three mile radius of eachother, two locations even being on the same road! By dominating the market with a high quality brand that we built to have a quality clean reputation we can achieve a high rate of return customers. Our records include when Tom Essenburg managed our 8th street location washing two busy winter days back to back 2,505 cars and 2,506 the next day. As well as at our newest facility a 180' system producing 206 cars in a single hour. We have assisted with the development of several hundred car washes around the world all based on principles we have founded and developed at Quality Car Wash in a small city called Holland, Michigan. After having been Hannah distributors and Peco distributors about 20 years ago Tom and June Essenburg linked up with a company called A.V.W. equipment in Chicago, IL. A small company growing rapidly we we're able to use our car washes to develop and enhance A.V.W.'s products. After distributing A.V.W.'s products nationwide we decided to break off into a niche of express washing. Express car washes have been around for 40 years and all our facilities had been express so we already new what was needed when keeping a customer in control of their car throughout the wash process. An experience that would wow them from beginning to end. We went into the the system and reinvented, redesigned, and continually develop and improve every part of the system to be able to buid higher production equipment with a greater return. We have since been called the "Apple" of car wash equipment with our trendy yet classy designs, and modern carwash look. What have we done. Tommy Car Wash Systems throughout the last several years has created, a revolutionary product line designed by the car wash expert Tom Essenburg. We set out to create the perfect car wash system and have acomplished our goal. Having 40 years of experience in the car wash industry we have seen many thing come and go. A while back we sat down and planned out what the future, and the ideal wash would look like. Here is some of what we came up with:
We feel we have met our goal, and thats why we have now released our system. Though this is not a stopping point, as technology moves, we continue to move. Why? We asked ourselves why do other manufacturers offer an operator many miscellaneous equipment parts and let the operator have the headache of learning as they go. We said, lets take our headaches from the last 40 years, and develop whats works, and get rid of what doesn't. Thats exactly what the Tommy Signature package is. Its the final product, tweaked to the finest detail, combined into one system with the things the work. We do not believe in selling people a lower grade, or a mid grade system, thats why we only offer one. What operator in their right mind would want a system that isn't 100% quality 100% of the time. Maybe your thinking, "sounds expensive?" Not really, because we have an extremely efficient manufacturing process we can produce stainless steel for virtually the same cost as others can produce aluminum and powercoat steel. Also by producing a stamp out type mass produced perfect system. Not to mention the resale value of stainless steel equipment in the second hand market (Nearly 50%!) What does it mean to be franchise like? With our new pre-designed site models we are able to provide huge value to new investors and existing operators by making for a better business.
