7.0 HEALTH HAZARD DATA /

7.1 Effects of Overexposure to Concentrate:
Eyes: Causes moderate irritation, no permanent damage.
Skin: Repeated or prolonged exposure may defat skin and cause

If Inhaled: High vapor/aerosol concentrations (>1000ppm) cause eye
and respiratory tract irritation. May cause headache, dizziness,
anesthesia, drowsiness, other central nervous system effects.
7.2 Note: In rats and mice, heavy doses of 2-butoxyethanol damage red
blood cells, which in turn can injure the liver, kidney and spleen.
These effects have not been observed in humans.
