| Intro |
| This
quote is the components broken down that make up a
standard Tommy package. There is very little veriance
in different wash packages. For the most part they
have the same major components and is more of the
"flare" that can impact your price. To start
out here, the |
| |
| Transporter
Module |
| ,
quoted is a steel conveyor, basically our only steel
component we offer. This is an over under system with
3'6" roller spacing rather then the alternative
6'6" which is not preferable in an express type
scenario. The 60' base item includes the hydraulic
power pack that drives the conveyor. Hydraulics is
the preferred form of power for driving a conveyor
due to electrical safety when dealing with pit water.
You can manipulate the next line to add length to
your tunnel with 10' additional sections of conveyor.
The correlator is the component that aligns the tire
/ car to the conveyor track. Pit grating is a figerglass
type product that is easy to maintain, drains well,
and is stong enough to hold a car in emergencies.
The |
|
Entrance Module |
|
is a system that is used in express car washes to
allow customers to load themselves onto the conveyor
by themselves with no employee. This includes a visual
barrier for the customer which is very important to
this process, also a mirror and signage. Self loading
requires this module and about 1 year of strict procedure
with actually training your customers. The |
| Presoak
Module |
|
includes a really great product that extremely improves
the cleaning of hard to reach places. This arch applies
chemical to front bumpers, windshields, back windows,
and back bumpers, and wheels and tires, all at different
chemical dilution ratios. This allows you to hit bugs,
or backends, depending on the current season at different
dillutions while not wasting chemical on other surfaces
of the car. There is a lot behind this product and
it highly impacts the proper cleaning of a car. The
, |
| Multi-washer
module |
| otherwise
know as wrap mitter combo system is the primary cleaning
tool for the friction part of the wash. This system
cleans fronts, backs twice, both sides and the mitter
covers the rest. A normal system will use two of these
units and also lower rocker panel brushes for the
extra road film areas. The |
| Triple
Coat |
| Arch
is simply a for show foaming arch that dispenses three
different colors of shine product. This is really
a place to spark some life so when dealing in an express
wash we highly recommend using the sign panel and
led light upgrades. The led light strips and sign
panels can be added to most of the arches in the tunnel
depending on how much flare you want your wash to
have. These really make your equipment stand out and
wow the customer. The |
| Side
Washer Module |
|
is the final friction section of the wash process.
This includes a contour brush with mitter combo unit.
The contour brush is a split brush that allows you
to adjust angle and pressure seperately on the top
half and bottom half of a side brush therefore contouring
to the shape of a common car or suv. Picture this
a a parenthasis shape brush hugging the car. The following
wheel blaster is a unit that high pressure blasts
the wheels. The |
|
Final Application Module |
|
starts with an all-in-one high pressure arch.
This runs on 2x 30 gallon per minute pump stations,
blasting and rinsing the car with a top oscilator,
side blast, and 4 stage fixed rocker blaster. Next
is a Rain X application for recommended $3 added revenue.
The protect, and drying agent are then applied to
start the chemical drying process, then final rinse,
or reverse osmosis water if required. After the rinse
is the tire dressing applicator which is a touchless
unit virtually maintenance free. This is the absolute
best and easiest upsell item due to the extreme noticable
difference this service makes. Costs around $.85 per
car and sells for recommended $3. The |
| Blower
Module |
|
is a twenty foot long system with a combined
180 horsepower made up of 12 15 h.p. blower producers.
This system focuses air in one direction increasing
the efficiency of the units in cooperation with eachother.
The system pushes air down in an effort to extremely
dry the important areas such as windows and the hood
and mirrors. The |
| Support
Equipment |
| is
for the most part the products that are required to
run the products above. Starting out the bay cleaning
station is a high pressure pump with a gun that can
be used for prepping and primarily for cleaning the
equipment. The 5 bank hydraulics power the wash equipment
and brushes. The double stack is for the high pressure
arch. Keep in mind all of this is stainless steel.
The single hp pump is for the following wheel blaster.
Rain X pumping station and the following pump panels
are for dispensing the soap products to the car wash
equipment and arches in the tunnel. These are all
also on stainless mounts. The air compressor is used
for supplying air to the cylinders, and foamers in
the system. We use 2 air compressors to create the
needed pressure and flow rates, also a backup for
emergencies. The wate softener is needed in some areas
but depends on your water quality. You will need to
test your water for hardness and also for t.d.s or
total disolved solids so we can determine if you need
the water softener and revers osmosis systems. The
water heater is a 1.336 million btu boiler with cirulating
pump and storage tank. Many people don't think this
is needed but is a requirement for any car wash in
any geographic area. A car cannot properly be washed
with cold water and you would exceed the cost of a
water heater trying to mix extra chemicals in cold
water rather than doing it properly. Very comparable
to washing your hands or doing laundry in cold water.
The ladder rack system is a chase system for all the
stainless tubing that plumbs your hydraulics and chemicals.
The ladder rack usually runs from the presoak through
the last rinse arch. The |
| Wash
Controller |
|
is a piece of equipment that turns on and off you
components at the proper times. Also done on the larger
scale by the motor control center for the large motors.
The Premium controller is an upgraded controller option
above and beyond a basic wash controller. The premium
controller offers you the capability to dial into
your wash controller from any location online. This
controller is also monitored from the Tommy headquarters
for reporting critical information to you. We can
feed you data that would normally require more man
hours. We can calculate live cost per car figures.
System faults or potential problems. Automatic chemical
reordering, marketing recommendations based on current
sales and pricing structure, live chemical levels,
and much more. This system is only available on the
drum pump over program. The electric control kit is
the entrance eyes for the wash, start and stop buttons,
and a warning horn. The anti-collision is an item
that goes in the concrete at the end of the wash as
an emergency shut down if someone has a problem getting
their car back in gear or for any reason stops. The
dual ICS auto sentry is a point of sale system that
collects the money from the customer, accepts credit
card, stages the customers using gates, and programs
the wash into the premium controller. |
